A close and exciting game at the sold-out Gymnase de Bercy, Paris.   Only a couple of lead changes, with Paris staying ahead for the majority of the 60 minutes.  But a tactical change in the second period saw Windsor finally close the gap and with just 3  jams remaining take back their early lead.

Windsor’s A team, Who Dares Windsor were determined to better the predicted ratio of Paris 161 – Windsor 100 (www.derbydataeurope.com), in this, their first away international.  The first period was penalty-heavy on both sides as the 2 teams battled to contain the opposition jammers.  Agile jamming from Paris’ Kozmic Bruise and Windsor’s Siouxsie Sutures coupled with heavy offence from Paris’ Meryl Strip Her and Windsor’s Laptalis resulted in a fast and crowd-pleasing game, the final score; Windsor, 170 – Paris 152.

Player awards were presented to Windsor’s: Vicki (CruciVix) Blampied and Elaine Stevens and to Paris’ Kozmic Bruise and Meryl Strip Her.

Thank you to Paris for hosting us and to everyone who supported us.

Windsor have a busy few weeks coming up with an intra-league bout Feb 23rd, followed by an away game against Nottinghams Hellfire Harlots (March 2nd) and then playing host to the Lincolnshire Bombers on March 16th (tickets on sale now).
